On July 16, 2022, we surprised 86-year-old Bill McKenzie of Reedsburg, Wisconsin with talented harpist. It was bittersweet as Bill is transitioning. His dream to have a harpist play for him provided comfort, inspiration, and closure to him and his wonderful family. Per his loving children, their father has loved harp music as long as they’ve known him. Bill is going to be remembered as a wonderful husband and great provider, jack of all trades, and his quick wit and sense of humor. He was born and raised in Merricmac, WI and was one of 17 children! In 8th grade, Bill left school to work on his family farm. Years later, he was proud to serve in the Navy.
